A Poem
Don’t go on Google if you fear pedestrians
Or pedagogues
Or pedicures.
Lock your doors,
And don’t look for shadows.
You’re better off under the covers.
Don’t eat candy.
Travel in groups,
And avoid eye contact with passersby.
Gain height
And put on muscle.
Try to age as fast as you can.
Grow another pair of eyes,
Eyes for bush-scouting.
And keep mother within your reach.
For you never know
Who might be around.
It could be The Man Across the Street.
