One night, a couple of months ago, I noticed that we had a full moon that was much larger than usual, so I switched out my usual camera lens for a much larger one. I stood up on a dining table on my back porch and zoomed in as far as I could, but, unfortunately, the lens still wasn’t long enough, so I had to crop in a lot which created a slightly grainy effect (as seen in the first picture below). As I continued taking photos of the moon, my camera went out of focus for one of the photos, which coincidentally led to this second photo that I think actually created an intriguing effect.
